Some guesses
To the obsessed Twilight fans like myself, you’ve all seen the Breaking Dawn cover right? If you didn’t you suck big time. I mean it. If you’re smart, you should of noticed that the image on the left is the cover :P My anxiety to find out what REALLY happens in Breaking Dawn has been driving crazy. I think blogging about it will let me relax a bit and get some homework done.
At the end of Eclipse, we all know that Jacob ran away right? In the 1st chapter of Breaking Dawn, we know that he is all the way up in Canada too right? (My spoilers for 1st chapter of Breaking Dawn here if you didn’t read) A few weeks ago, I was on this Twilight message board on this thread about what they thing will happen in Breaking Dawn. A whole bunch of them said that Jacob will go crash Bella’s wedding. I didn’t think that that would happen UNTIL NOW. UGHH! Why the hell is a RED chess piece on the cover? Red=Jacob. Oh my. Please don’t tell me hes gonna crash Bella’s wedding and leave Edward waiting at the altar x.x That would put me into depression and some antidepressant pills wouldn’t even help.
Due to studying the image for quite a long period of time, I have noticed that the red piece is a PAWN. Pawn = lowest level of soldiers in chess. The white piece is a queen. I’m guessing that that would be Bella. White queen….AREN’T VAMPIRES RESEMBLED AS WHITE? :D So right now my guess is that after Bella is all nice and cold and hard, Jacob comes back to try and win her back but their differences are too much. (soldiers < queens)
A long while ago, I was on Stephenie Meyer’s website and reading some stuff and I noticed that she made a typo while trying to say Breaking Dawn. She wrote Forever Dawn instead. Now that is giving me a feeling that the book was going to be Forever Dawn but maybe it gave away too much of the story or something. Forever would mean that Bella successfully turned cold hard vampire :D But Breaking? What would breaking mean? Breaking through a new day? Would the breaking be a change in someone’s life? THIS IS DRIVING ME NUTS
Just a second ago, I was on Stephenie Meyer’s site again but I was reading the announcement. Seth, the site’s webmaster and I think he might be her brother said that the meaning of the cover was CLASSIFIED. WTF? I NEEEDDD TOO KNOWWW!
PS. If Jacob Black does crash the wedding, I WILL PERSONALLY SHOOT HIM DOWN. Die Jacob die.
PSS. I got a new layout finished! It will be coded somewhere around next week. I do have a problem with the color choices though. I have 2 versions done. Tell me which one you like in the comments ;)
PSSS. I use messing around with my tablet today and decided to try and do a gesture sketch of this picture I found in my mag (Cosmo). It turned out PRETTY BAD.
HAHAHAH! To be honest, I think that sketch looks funny XD The face really makes me laugh. So dorky looking? No? XD Don’t worry, I usually don’t draw like this

The first time I saw the cover it looked really odd to me (I know nothing of Chess :sweatdrop:) Then after reading a couple of theorys (Yours and others) it made sense 
and I agree: Jacon Black has got to go

Well I guess I just can’t believe that anyone would be able to think so much abotu this, but then again the Twilight obsession is pretty huge. I am thinking that I am finally going to have to get organised and start reading it! My sister already has the books so I guess it shouldn’t be too hard for me to get into it. Anyway, I hope that all your questioning and speculation is worth it!

What kind of tablet do you have? I’ve been looking for some but there are so many choices! I like the second layout best :)
I’m not crazy about the Twilight series (I nearly nodded off to sleep in the middle of the first book and Eclipse) but I’m pretty curious about the movie. xD
Layout 1: The pinks make me feel really warm, probably because of the pinks and purples. (Aren’t they what artists call “warm colors”?)
Layout 2:It gives off a kind of “chilled vibe”, and it’s summer so it’s refreshing to look at.
I’m voting for #2. :D

Hmm I don’t think Jacob is the red one. So people think Edward is red and Bella is the white one. I’m so excited for August lol! <3333 If there really will be a wedding, it’d be awesome!
I’m glad I’m not the only one going insane. I will personally help you KILL Jacob if he trashes the wedding! I want them to get married and I want Bella to get changed. I know there will be a big conflict but if those two things happen and there’s a happy ending I’ll be okay.

I’m on myself, and when I saw the Breaking Dawn cover and read the first chapter, I was indeed running around the room for 878937542978543 hours screaming i agree with what you said with the queen piece being bella since I don’t think Jacob or Edward could be a queen, however, I don’t know who the cress piece could be, but I’m sure we’ll find out, you never know it could be a new person…

Nice theory! Mine’s going to take a little explaining. I only thought of this after remembering a speech my cousin did on his wedding day to his wife saying she was his princess now she is his queen.
I think that looking at the cover is looking at everything through Edward’s eyes. Bella, his Queen who is, after becoming a vampire indestructable, and she is his world. Therefor that is why she is the ‘Queen’. The most important piece in the game [Face it, the king is just some lazy guy who won't get off his bum and save his own back].
But Edward knows that Jacob will always have a place in Bella’s heart, so that is ‘Jacob’ in the background. I think at the end of Eclipse Jacob said something about always being in the background, I think this is how Edwards sees the situation, knowing Jacob will always be there trying to get Bella back. Even though she’s a vampire, a agree with your theory there!
After re reading this I think I have a very similar theory as you, without realising it . . . great theory!
i was thinking it wasnt going to be jacob that crashes but the vampires from italy 
and she wont be a vampire yet and everything would be ruined and he’d have to bit her in the wedding dresss or something?!?! i hope its Amazingly Good
Actually, Forever Dawn was going to be the second book in the series, but then once SM was almost finished writing the book, she realized that it wasn’t in the “Young Adult” genre. So she finished the book, then gave it to her sister for her birthday (LUCKY SISTER!). Then she went ahead writing New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn as if forever dawn never existed (I hope someday she publishes it just for the fun of it!).
